Zimbabwe imposes ban on second hand underwear... sparking protests from traders who say the move will push them out of business. "How does this happen? If you are a husband and you see your wife buying underwear from the flea market, you have failed."
Kenyans pay dearly for mitumba clothes... The cost of second-hand clothes, known as mitumba, has shot up limiting availability in the local market... Those who managed to get the clothes at a higher cost also doubled their selling price. This consequently led to a shortage after traders failed to replenish their stocks.
Police kill five, arrest city criminal group... Separately, another robbery suspect was shot dead in Uthiru, Nairobi. Officers who shot him said he stole 1,000 Ksh and a mobile phone from a pedestrian. Yikes!
